The company offers a wealth of good quality products via a network of marketers who can earn a decent income, if they are willing to do the work and use all the company’s training and promotional strategies to their advantage. As a distributor you can earn 20% on any sales you make, and that percentage can go to 40% after recruiting your own downline.
If you want to step up the ladder and become an Advisor you get high discounts and, according to the AdvoCare’s website, earn around $40,000 per year as a 3-Star Gold Distributor. The company says it does everything to help you succeed and you can get a lot of resources and training needed to make a successful network marketing business.
The company’s website is heavy on images of sports personalities, with Drew Brees being a sponsor.
Okay, so is it really a good network marketing opportunity? Based on our AdvoCare Review here are the details:
The buy-in is low, and for just $80, AdvoCare provides a new distributor with $60-worth of products, plus business promotion materials. The products are useful as give away samples which is always an added edge.
The fact that AdvoCare has been around since 1993 does count for a lot in the MLM industry, but although this does seem like a very well-established company with a good product, the fact is, like any other network marketing business the emphasis is on sales and recruiting a downline. There appears to be many legitimate claims of people making good incomes from promoting AdvoCare’s products, but whether after 17 years in business there is room for anyone at the bottom of the ladder, is only for you to find out.
There is a huge failure rate in network marketing and from what I can see this also applies to Advocare with a 3% retention rate of new distributors.
Training has been described as minimal, despite the company’s claims, which isn’t good if you are new to the business, but with the right tools and mind set you may be able to make a go of this. The buy-in after all is not a lot to risk.
Their compensation plan is the “stair step breakaway” type, and you must be able to grasp what that means to fully understand how you will get paid.
Marketing is what it says it is; it will be up to you to do all the work to get your AdvoCare distributor business off the ground, but you will have the added help of promoting a well-established company’s very good and diverse line of products.
If you want to join the network marketing business industry, the emphasis is on that word “marketing”, that’s the key to it all. This opportunity certainly looks healthy enough, but without learning the proper skills, you will never succeed at any kind of NM business.
No good network marketing company can tell you everything, so you will have to invest a lot of time and effort educating yourself, to be able to be one of that tiny 3% of AdvoCare’s successful distributors.
